Ingredients-
thailand rice-3/4C soaked in hot boiling water for 2hours.grind it like u would do for a dosa batter
... whole wheat flour/atta-2C
salt
add the atta to the ground rice and make a soft dough like the one u would make for the rice version.
for the fish masala:
fish-i used king fish..pomphret wud taste divine-4pcs
marinate the fish in red chilly pdr, turmeric pdr, salt for half an hour
onions-2 chopped finely
tomato-(opt)it gives an extra moist-little just 2T of a chopped tomato
green chillies-according to taste
curry leaves-3 sprigs-chopped finely
coconut-3/4C-pulse with little red chilly pdr
3-4T of fish curry(coconut gravy one)-completely optional.if u have fish curry on hand pls add it.it gives a unique taste.i make it everyday in my house so have it handy all the time.
fry the fish.remove the bone and skin and shred the fish.
add 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and saute onions till transparent.
add the tomato.saute for 3 mins.add green chillies and curry leaves.
add the pulsed coconut and saute on low flame for 5 mins.
if u dont have coconut curry paste stop at this step.
add the coconut curry paste.(opt)saute for 1 min.remove from flame.
take a small ball of the dough and roll with ur hand on foil paper.spread masala on top evenly all around.take another foil paper and roll a small ball of dough as that of the first one and cover it using this.seal the sides transfer into the steamer and cook for 25 mins or till done.
after taking out keep on the counter for 5 mins inverted.means not in the postion u kept in the steamer.this step allows both the sides to b flat.
cut a u wud cut a pizza and serve while still warm...
